Looking for a currency conversion API that:

has sane request limits
won’t make me go bankrupt after hours of testing
ideally does not require an account
does not assume any source currency from which conversion should happen (put simply, it must be source-currency-agnostic)

The Polish Central Bank’s seems to be a good choice except for the fact it always assumes a user wants to convert from Polish zloty (PLN). Any suggestions?
