Windows users can feel envious of one thing – for instance, Linux users can set up their favourite browser as a default without excessive nagging that “this browser is the best just use it come on do not change it”.

I had a problem with links opening in the browser I am not daily driving (i.e. the GNOME’s built-in browser, Epiphany – for instance inline video player does not work there, at least in my case). All I needed is to a) simple search for the default apps settings, b) click into the appropriate menu, c) “Web” > Librewolf. That’s all.

How can you even live with this (and probably 100s of other abhorrent UX decisions made by Microsoft at Windows)? It’s unimaginable.
