Interparolo (Android Edition) 2.1.0 is under way! This is a Monocles Chat fork which branched out of the mainstream app after Monocles Chat developer disagreed with my UI suggestions – though critical fixes will still be merged.

The update will bring:

another UI improvements, including the contact preview screen overhaul
(not available in Monocles Chat) muting notifications per contact! If you are tired of getting a lot of messages in a short time, this function will come to your rescue
(not available in Monocles Chat) deciding on how messages’ content text size should be big (in range of 12-18sp)
a few minor bug fixes including link descriptions appearance

_Fun fact: “interparolo” literally means “a conversation” in Esperanto._
