Hey, I am in need of a legal advice. Don’t worry, I am not in a threatening situation – it’s something trivial from my standpoint.

Question is, could the HTML/CSS code be assumed any protection under copyright laws?

While it is obvious that the website’s source code may benefit from such protections, I doubt that what’s eventually streamed to the browser is also the beneficiary of copyright laws’ protections.

Maybe am I mistaken? Is there someone who is proficient in terms of law-related things on the Fediverse who could help me out?
